M'GILAT ES'TEIR
The M'gilah is read on erev Purim and again on Purim morning during Maariv and Shacharit following the Sh'moneh esrei.

Please refer to the transliteration and pronunciation key .

The use of transliterated texts may facilitate the acquisition of new language skills. It is hoped that this will engage the reader in a process  that will eventually lead to fluency in written and spoken Hebrew, to the joy of being able to participate fully in congregational services, and to the discovery of the richness of Hebrew texts that is unavoidably lost in translation.
